We would like to take this opportunity to address the recent inquiries about when clients will be allowed to accompany their pets inside our hospital for appointments, especially as more people are getting vaccinated. We would like nothing more than to resume client service and patient care as it was before the pandemic but we believe that continuing to serve clients curbside is the safest way to operate for the time being.
The health and well-being of our clients and team is our top priority, as it has been since the beginning of the pandemic. We continue to follow CDC guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety. The CDC recommends that after someone has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, they should keep taking precautions in public places such as:
- Wearing a mask
- Staying six feet apart
- Avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated areas
For these reasons, we will continue to operate curbside and communicate with you via e-mail, telephone and limit in person interactions to outside.
We continue to assess our workflow and facility so that we may be in compliance with social distancing guidelines and maximum capacity limits. This will ensure that we can continue to care for our patients while keeping our clients and team members safe.
We look forward to welcoming our clients back into our hospital and continue to actively plan for this transition as soon as we feel it is safe to do so. We will also continue to monitor updates from state and local officials throughout the month of May and will provide additional updates on our operating procedures in early June.
We appreciate your continued support!
